The Kenya Cup makes a comeback as KCB hosts Kabras at KCB sports club Ruaraka this weekend with the squad being put through their paces at their Lion’s den base.
The tellers, who host the defending champions Kabras in a re-run of the 2014/15 final, have already surpassed their record in the competition this season winning 14 games, losing two and drawing one.
The 4pm kick off will see influential full back Darwin Mukidza spearhead KCB’s charges alongside captain Curtis Lilako, Andrew Amonde among other players.
Ahead of the historic clash, the Curtis Olago side will now look to avenge last year’s elimination in the semi- final clash.
The stars will be put through their paces Friday evening as they prepare for another gargantuan Kenya cup comeback attempt.
Fullback Darwin Mukidza inspired the Bankers with 14 points at home when KC edged out Quins 19-12 in the semi-final played on Saturday 8 April 2017.
KCB team B (ESS) will also be in the finals this weekend in an early kick off. Both teams have stepped up their preparations for the game in front of a sell-out crowd at the Lion’s Den. Tickets will be retailing at Kshs 400 on Saturday 22nd April 2017.
