National men’s rugby sevens team was bundled out of the Vancouver challenge cup of the ongoing world rugby series.

This is after losing 7-21 points to Samoa in a semi-final match that was played last night in Canada.

Sammy Oliech scored the sole try for Kenya with Eden Agero making the conversion as Alex Samoa, Joe Perez and Savelio Ropati touched down for Samoa.

The Kenyan squad leaves Canada with only five points ahead of the seventh round of the series that will be held in Hong Kong in April this year.

In Vancouver, Kenya won only two matches, one against Chile where it registered a 26-19 points victory and another one against Scotland where it won 19-17 points.
